From the supplier: A group of companies evaluated Crystallume's process for diamond coating tungsten carbide inserts to tungsten carbide rotating systems. The process, which could be used to machine various types of abrasive non-ferrous materials, was shown to improve the life-expectancy of machine tools by up to 50%. It also supported excellent workpiece finishes and the running of diamond-coated tools at faster speeds and feeds.
